Most terms = 10 weeks (school terms)

Community & ZOOM Sessions  (1 Hour)

$280 = 40 session credits ($7/Session)  super gold logo reduced size

$80 = 10 session credits ($8/Session)
$10/Session – Casual session credit

Extended & Weapons Sessions (30 min)

*Tuakau 9:30-10am and Waiuku 9:30-10am

$2/Session – Casual session credit

Unlimited Sessions/Week – for 10 Weeks

$175      = unlimited sessions for 10 weeks 
            (30min Session, 1-Hour Session (incl ZOOM), Beginner Session)

Social Catch Up … Tamara will ‘Admit’ participants in to the class via the ‘Waiting Room’, she will start this 10 minutes before each session, to allow participants ‘set up’ and Chat time.

Move It Monday ~ One Hour

Wind Down Wednesday ~ One Hour (evening class)

  1. Warm-ups weekly rotation … (Ba Duan Jin, Daoyin Yangsheng Gong – Bao Jian Gong)
  2. Forms to learn & practise … Tai Chi for ‘Immunity’ Rehabilitation, Tai Chi for Life (NEW)
  3. Five Element Qigong and Inner Smile Meditation, cool-downs, tapping

BEGINNERS ~ One Hour

  1. Dr Paul Lam’s Tai Chi for Health Warm-ups
  2. Forms to learn & refine … Tai Chi for Memory, Tai Chi for Rehabilitation, Tai Chi for Arthritis ‘Core’
  3. Five Element Qigong and meditation, cool-downs, tapping

Intermediate ~ One Hour

  1. Warm-ups weekly rotation … (Shibashi #1, Daoyin Yangsheng Gong – Bao Jian Gong, Tamara’s Warm-Ups)
  2. Forms to learn & refine … Tai Chi for Arthritis part 1, Tai Chi Energy part 1
  3. Five Element Qigong and meditation, cool-downs, tapping

Advanced ~ One Hour

  1. Warm-ups weekly rotation … (Shibashi #2, Daoyin Yangsheng Gong – Shuxin Pingxue Gong, Silk Reeling)
  2. Forms to learn & refine … Tai Chi for Heart Conditions, Yang 10 Forms, Tai Chi for Energy part 1 & 2,  Tai Chi for Rehabilitation ++
  3. Five Element Qigong and meditation, cool-downs, tapping

Weapons ~ 30 minutes (after Friday Advanced class … modified for small spaces)

  1. Forms to learn & refine … Franklin Fan, Traditional Tai Chi Cane
  2. Cool-downs

Class Instructions, Information & Rules 

Step #1     ABOVE in the Weekly Schedule you will find the link to the classes for the week 

Step #2     Load ZOOM on your computer/laptop/tablet or just follow the links(s)

Step #4     Practise … try a ZOOM meeting with your family or friends … try having a cuppa tea with a friend … or a glass of wine!

Step #5     Get Ready for your tai chi class:

  • Find a quiet spot with some space to practise tai chi
  • Try to place your device about kitchen counter top level, be creative …
  • Have water to drink near your practise area
  • Have a chair handy if you need to practise seated tai chi
  • Wear loose comfortable clothes
  • Open ZOOM about 10 minutes before class, or click the class link
  • Click on the meeting link up to 10 minutes before class, you will be in the ‘Waiting Room
  • Audio and Video – Check the bottom left corner of your ZOOM screen, or tablets & some phones the top?
  • Gallery View‘ vs ‘Speaker View‘ … Top right screen or elsewhere? Try both to see what you prefer.
  • PLEASE avoid feeling bad it the technology doesn’t work well the first few times
  • Please email or text me any requests, I will do my best to cover or include these topics

Step #6     ZOOM class RULES with Tamara

  • I will ‘Admit’ participants in to the class from the waiting room, please be patient
  • I will turn off your recording option for these classes (respect copyright)
  • Once I start the class, I will ‘mute’ all participants to avoid background noise
  • After 30 min, we will have a short break … I will un-mute everyone
  • Classes will resume and I will ‘mute’ everyone again.
  • Please work within your comfort zone, practise seated when needed
  • I will end the class/meeting for everyone
