Tai Chi for Health Programmes
- Tai Chi for Arthritis, Tai Chi for Diabetes, Tai Chi for Osteoporosis, Tai Chi for Heart Conditions, Tai Chi for Memory and Tai Chi for Rehabilitation are modified tai chi programs with a high emphasis on safety, designed by Dr Paul Lam, medical and tai chi experts.
- The Tai Chi for Health programs are suitable for ALL ages and abilities and are ideal for older adults due to the slow gentle movements, no high kicks, higher stance used in the forms, attention to the breath and relaxation, emphasis on strengthening and flexibility and a social element encouraged.
- These programmes are evidence based and have gained worldwide acceptance by Arthritis Foundations and Societies and are proven by scientific studies to be safe and effective.
- Studies have shown the Tai Chi for Arthritis program relieves pain, improves physical function and balance by 30%, and reduces the risk of falls after three months practice.
- More Tai Chi for Health programs: Tai Chi for Kids, Tai Chi for Life, Tai Chi for Energy, and Tai Chi for Beginners.
The BENEFITS Include
- Mind and Body Balance
